Oh yes, I was waiting for you to finish this before starting to read, though I now need to wait for right mindset because I can see this won't be an easy read (the 'chronic pain' tag hits a bit close to home)

extremely understandable! there's a hopeful ending but it's a story that definitely dives deep into pain in general and there's lots of conflict, so take care of yourself if or when you end up diving in! <3
