We are BACK with another reclist! If the first list was about a spread of diverse kinds of stories, many of which I think are vastly underappreciated, this second list can be considered a somewhat chaotic mishmash of things I enjoyed. My strategy for putting together reclists is either pilfering my own bookmarks (nailed it) or literally just diving into my weirdly photographic memory for fic/videos/other fannish stuff I enjoyed. I can recite some summaries verbatim just because I liked them. Most useless special talent ever outside of fandom but we are here and I'm using it!

• I loooooove canon compliant time travel it's one of my favorite tropes
• Also past (thunderous era) minsung getting bowled over by their future sexy partners is so fun I loved that
• Lighthearted, sweet, steamy and fun vibes

• this is not a trope i usually go for but the pining was so fun, the dynamics are super interesting, and i loved how sex work positive it was as a story overall while still feeling grounded
• Also god the pining really got me I love friends to lovers especially when there's something agonizing about the love.. hell yeah

love at first bite by engine - explicit, 16k, meet cute-ugly, vampire bait jisung gets more than he bargained for

• such a fun and charming dynamic for the two of them
• god jisung is so in over his head here in the best way
• I also loved how realistic it felt for a strangers to lovers progression, they really do connect instantly but the author goes on to show that connection and let them flirt and goof around and get to know each other throughout
• + who doesn't love the idea of broody weirdo vamp minho, exactly

lost verses by dieofthatroar - general, 4.6k, outsider pov (hyunjin!) on minsung's relationship

• i looooooove this story!!!! it's such an interesting choice of pov and a really lovely character and relationship study
• i just like outsider povs a lot and i think this fic executed it really well
• the minsung fight and make up... so true....
• a pretty quiet meditation on lived-in love and on friendship too

Burn Down the City by adisadastra - explicit, 14k, canon compliant, pining!!!! pining!!!!!!

• every ship has its sort of classic canon compliant mutual pining getting together story right? this is minsung's for me i think
• adisadastra is an author who writes really interesting visceral settings that tie closely to character? i don't know how to explain it i just think it's really good
• also yeah who isn't here for mutual pining, i cannot emphasize how much this story really is just about pining

head, life, heart by sukoshidake - teen and up, 4k, canon compliant, palm reading and cuteness in general

• such a good understated minho characterization here
• also as someone who has been stanning richard siken since i was like 13, the focus on hands specifically in a gay male context is of course Getting Me In My Feelings
• it's just really sweet and i think goes a long way to show how physical touch as a way to express love can say so much all on its own

write, sign, repeat by anonymous - explicit, 6k, also 2min + implied ot8 poly, bodywriting via post-it notes, do not look at me

• i don't have anything to say for myself actually
• listen if you get me you get me if not we can both move on

the songs were for you by dieofthatroar - general, 5k, sickfic + realizations and getting together for when you just need to feel really soft

• closing out with a really sweet hurt/comfort and confession story
• jisung is a SONGWRITER i love it when fics let him write songs about minho, amen
• very gentle very darling very believable as far as characterization goes
