Audio Commentary on "How to Know if Your Crush Likes You Back, and Other Advice for Students"

 Hello! Your friend and mine deepestbluesky recently posted audio commentary on our pod-together 2021 work, and it was endlessly charming and delightful. I felt compelled to make my own commentary, this one on the pod-together work from the year previous that we did together.

If you don't know what pod-together it is, it's an event that teams writers and podficcers up to create works made for audio and produce an audio fanwork, and it's one of my favorite fannish events!

The original fic/podfic we made for pod-together 2020 is genuinely one of my favorite things I've helped make. I think it holds up on my own relistens, of which there have been several. The performances from my two friends were sensational! Where is our sponsorship? I'm not sure who would sponsor us but someone should. They don't make artist-patron relationships like they used to.

Anyway, this commentary includes the full original podfic audio interspersed with about 20 additional minutes of my passionate and exciting interjections, thoughts, general comments, etc. I had a blast making this and I hope it's fun to listen to! I mostly made it for my co-creators but I think anyone might enjoy it. <3

hi i listened to this again tonight bc i rediscovered its existence and WOW I LOVE THIS PODFIC???? and also hi i love hearing your thoughts about writing and creating, you're always so intentional and thoughtful about stuff and it's really cool to hear you talk about it! also all the things it was a delight to re-remember about how we made this or choices we made or funny lines i had forgotten lol

IT IS A GOOD PODFIC!!! i am genuinely so proud of it, i feel like part of the reason i've been subconsciously dragging my feet on actually doing another podtogether (aside from being busy and doing less fannish stuff in 2024) is because the magic of this project feels so impossible to recreate... we were on our A games!!! maybe i will also relisten to this tonight for the sake of nostalgia, i don't think i've listened to the commentary since i posted it
