I know like 5 facts about skz and 4 of them are "I'm obsessed with hyunjin's little ponytail" so most of this went over my head, but I love reading about why people love the ships they do! I also feel you strongly about the unexpected sufferings of liking a popular ship - for me (in addition to mad libs fic, which is a great phrase) the fanon interpretation of big ships can get so strong to a point that 90% of fic ends up following that pattern. And if that interpretation/dynamic isn't one I vibe with... RIP me and the Highly Specific way I ship jeongcheol.
